Yay! Welcome to Mindy’s Picks. I am so happy you’re here. How do I love Versona? Let me count the ways. I love that Versona has a boutique feel without the boutique price tag. They always have unique pieces that draw me into the store IMMEDIATELY. Let’s rewind to last summer when I found the most STUNNING sequin top that I couldn’t stop thinking about and ultimately had to have!!! So, I felt that Versona would be the perfect store to launch Mindy’s Picks. Let’s get started.
Look #1: Hear me out, girls. We are making dress shorts in the office a thing this year. I said what I said and let me explain. I’m not talking about cutoff jean shorts but nicely tailored shorts. These orange shorts are stunning and the gold detail makes them perfect for the office. Now snag a nice neutral blazer, a purchase you will NEVER regret, and layer over a classic basic layering piece like this black cami. You can take any outfit to the next level with accessories. That is what I did here with the layered necklaces and chunky bracelet.
Look #2: I would say this is one of my favorite “uniforms”...denim, white denim and leopard print. This look is perfection in my book. Spoiler alert, jazzagals, leopard print is going to be HUGE for fall so get on board. THIS IS HAPPENING. We’re not giving up on summer yet, so I love to pair a cutie little denim tank with a pair of fabulous white denim. Once again, it is the ACCESSORIES that really elevate this look. Look at that leopard print belt, that *DREAMY* fringe bag and one of my favorites, a paperclip chain necklace. I cannot tell a lie, I think I need this outfit once it is time to switch out the storefront.
Look #3: You can literally never go wrong with an LBD….a little black dress of course. This dress is one of this boutique type items that I was talking about. I saw this dress and I squealed out loud. I knew that I had to have it. This dress is a statement piece on its own BUT look at that statement necklace and that stunning bag. This is wedding guest dress perfection.
Look #4: Whether you love football or not, it is almost football season. Luckily I LOVE football so I am always on board to find a way to add a little flare to my game day gear. Did someone say fringe sleeves and sequins? YES PLEASE!! This top is a must have and is easily paired with your favorite denim. I added this hat and I feel like they were made to be together. Don’t forget your clear crossbody bag for stadium security.
Look #5: I would put this into my MUST HAVE category. If you don’t have a jean jacket in your closet, then this is your sign. A jean jacket is one of the MOST versatile pieces and I may or may not have SIX!!! Pairing a graphic tee with a jean jacket is one of my favorite styles but when you add a pair of raw hem cropped flares then you are just taking this look to the next level. You will see, once again, that I have layered some gold necklaces and added a fabulous set of bangles.
I promise you, style knows no age. When you look good, you feel good. When you feel good you DO GOOD. So stick with me girls. We are only just beginning.
