Gigi’s Kitchen Opens at Franklin Park Mall with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Several New Eateries Coming Soon
Gigi’s Kitchen, the newest retailer at Franklin Park Mall, will celebrate their opening with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, May 18, at 11:00 a.m. Locally owned Gigi’s Kitchen offers homemade traditional southern style BBQ chicken with a family secret BBQ sauce along with chicken & waffles, mac & cheese, ribs and many other homestyle favorites. Located in the Franklin Park Mall Food Court, Gigi’s Kitchen is owned by Alberto and Jami Salazar. Sandy Spang, City of Toledo Commissioner of Business Services, will make welcome remarks at the ceremony.
In addition to Gigi’s Kitchen, Franklin Park Mall is thrilled to announce several new brands coming soon to the 1.3 million square foot shopping, dining and entertainment destination. The refresh of the eateries at Franklin Park Mall, a Pacific Retail Property, will significantly enhance the dining experience for the more 8 million shoppers who visit the mall each year.

The following restaurants and eateries are opening in the Food Court throughout the summer:
- Gigi’s Kitchen: Soft Opening now. Ribbon Cutting May 18, 11:00 a.m.
- 24th Cheesecakerie (Opening in June): 24th Cheesecakerie is a locally owned gourmet cheesecake company dedicated to providing high quality cheesecakes. Vegan cheesecake options are available!
- China Experience (Under Construction): China Experience offers an array of rich and colorful Chinese dishes with time-honored aromatic flavor of the Orient.
- Mango Thai (Under Construction): Mango Thai offers the traditional Asian cuisine famous for its exotic taste of spices, combined with sweet and sour.
The new Food Court offerings are paired perfectly with the Instant Cravings, Instant Savings promotion at Franklin Park Mall. When shoppers spend $50 at a mall eatery or restaurant, they will receive a $20 gift card to another mall store.
